Desired Skills & Background:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology license for Virginia (or eligibility)
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Prior experience providing therapy to school-aged children, specifically with autism spectrum disorders
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Ability to manage caseloads across two adjacent school campuses
- Positive, flexible approach towards teamwork and adapting strategies
Your Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech and language services for K-5th students in accordance with IEP goals
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders
- Design individualized therapy plans and monitor student progress
- Work hand-in-hand with teachers, special educators, and support staff to create inclusive therapy environments
- Engage with families and caregivers, providing guidance and resources
- Maintain organized, accurate student records and contribute to IEP meetings
- Split time between two nearby school sites, with seamless scheduling and support
