Desired Skills & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) highly preferred; Clinical Fellow (CFY) candidates also considered
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred but not required
- Ability to conduct assessments, write reports, and deliver individualized therapy plans
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to students in individual and group settings
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine students’ speech-language needs
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in accordance with district and state policies
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to ensure consistent and effective support for each student
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including progress notes and assessment reports
- Participate in team meetings and provide expert guidance on communication strategies within the classroom
