A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in Oxnard, CA, focused on providing essential support to students from pre-kindergarten through 8th grade. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized speech and language evaluations and therapy to students ranging from pre-K to 8th grade
- Provide bilingual services in Spanish to effectively support the diverse student population
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to develop and implement student-specific intervention plans
- Manage caseloads of up to 65 students across 1-2 school locations, with daily commuting between sites
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with district and state regulations related to therapy services
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology license with CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence)
- Experience working as an SLP within school settings
- Proficiency in Spanish with bilingual capabilities essential
- Strong interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with students, families, and school personnel
- Ability to manage a full-time caseload efficiently and adapt to working onsite at multiple schools
Location and Schedule:
- Oxnard, California
- Full-time contract role: 37.5 hours per week
- Onsite position, commuting between 1-2 nearby schools
