Travel Speech Therapist in New Haven, CT
A healthcare organization in the New Haven, CT area is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to support PreK-12th grade students across various settings. Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) preferred
- Experience working in school-based settings, pediatrics, or healthcare environments
- Familiarity with teletherapy service delivery
- Completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) is desirable
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload of PreK-12th grade students
- Strong communication and collaborative skills for working with educators, families, and interdisciplinary teams
Location:
- New Haven, Connecticut area with travel to local schools and healthcare facilities as required
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for students
- Provide evidence-based therapy services consistent with students’ educational and therapeutic goals
- Utilize teletherapy techniques when appropriate to enhance service delivery
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including progress notes and reports
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student success
- Participate in team meetings and professional development activities as needed
