An opportunity is available for a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to support students from kindergarten through 12th grade at various school sites in New Haven, CT. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to a caseload of approximately 50-70 students across K-8th and high school settings.
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and complete Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in compliance with state and federal guidelines.
- Participate in Planning and Placement Team (PPT) meetings to collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals.
- Maintain detailed documentation and progress reports to support student growth and compliance.
- Support communication goals tailored to individual student needs.
Qualifications:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology or appropriate licensure for school settings.
- Experience working with diverse student populations across K-12grade levels.
- Strong knowledge of speech-language therapy protocols within educational environments.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Willingness to consider a Clinical Fellow (CF) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) under appropriate professional oversight.
