An opportunity is available for a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to support students from kindergarten through 12th grade at various school sites in New Haven, CT. This full-time contract position begins in January and runs through June 17, 2026, offering the chance to make a meaningful impact in the educational development of students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech and language therapy services to a caseload of approximately 50-70 students across K-8th and high school settings.
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and complete Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in compliance with state and federal guidelines.
  • Participate in Planning and Placement Team (PPT) meetings to collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals.
  • Maintain detailed documentation and progress reports to support student growth and compliance.
  • Support communication goals tailored to individual student needs.

Qualifications:

  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology or appropriate licensure for school settings.
  • Experience working with diverse student populations across K-12grade levels.
  • Strong knowledge of speech-language therapy protocols within educational environments.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Willingness to consider a Clinical Fellow (CF) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) under appropriate professional oversight.
