A contracted Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the 2026-2027 school year in Wilmington, DE. This onsite role serves an Early Childhood setting within a public school environment, offering a Monday through Friday schedule with full-time hours tailored to support student needs.
Key Details:
- Location: Wilmington, DE
- Contract Duration: August 19, 2026 – June 15, 2027
- Hours: Approximately 37.5 hours per week, including a 30-minute paid lunch
- Daily Schedule: Early childhood hours from 8:25 AM to 3:55 PM (hours based on prior school year, subject to minor variation)
- Caseload: Early Childhood students (detailed caseload information available upon inquiry)
Qualifications and Experience:
- Must hold a valid Delaware SLP license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Candidates with School-based Speech-Language Pathology experience strongly preferred
- Not recommended for Clinical Fellows; this is not a Clinical Fellow (CF) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) position
- Experience working within school systems and early intervention highly valued
Responsibilities:
- Provide onsite speech and language services to early childhood students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligning with students' IEPs
- Collaborate with school staff, families, and other professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with state regulations
