Provide specialized speech-language pathology services supporting pediatrics in a dynamic school travel assignment based in New Brunswick, NJ. This role involves delivering therapy across two schools within the district, primarily serving students from early childhood through 5th grade. The position focuses on covering overflow caseloads and requires flexibility and expertise in pediatric school-based interventions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech-language pathology services aligned with school-based goals and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Manage itinerant caseload across two assigned schools, ensuring consistent and effective therapy sessions.
- Provide indirect services including documentation, progress notes, and participation in team meetings.
- Collaborate with educational teams and families to optimize student communication outcomes.
- Adhere to district policies and procedures, including participation in Zoom interviews and trainings as required.
Qualifications:
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Experience providing pediatric speech-language therapy in a school setting.
- Knowledge of school speech-language pathology protocols, including IEP development and implementation.
- Strong organizational skills to manage a caseload efficiently, including traveling between schools.
- Current licensure and clearance for working within the New Jersey school system, including fingerprinting compliance.
Assignment Details:
- Position Type: Travel assignment within New Brunswick school district.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 32.5 hours per week.
- Duration: Available immediately through June 19, 2026.
- Caseload Model: Based on district workload expectations covering early childhood to 5th grade students.
