Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist in New Britain, CT

Skills & Experience We Value:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (or eligibility to obtain)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Previous experience or strong interest in working with pediatrics in educational environments
- Comprehensive understanding of evaluation, therapy techniques, and IEP documentation
- Excellent communication, collaborative, and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Conducting assessments and evaluations for students with speech, language, voice, and fluency needs
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans based on students’ goals and needs
- Participating in IEP meetings and collaborating with teachers, parents, and other multidisciplinary staff to optimize student outcomes
- Maintaining accurate records and progress documentation in compliance with school and legal requirements
- Offering guidance and support regarding communication disorders to caregivers and faculty
