School Speech Language Pathologist - New Britain, Connecticut
A contract position is available for a certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with SLP-CCC credentials to serve elementary students across two school sites in New Britain, CT. This role offers an opportunity to support a caseload of approximately 30 students with speech and language needs during the current academic year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to elementary students.
- Assess and monitor student progress, updating individualized treatment plans.
- Collaborate with educators and families to support student communication goals.
- Manage caseload efficiently across two school locations.
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school policies.
Qualifications:
- Valid SLP license with Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC).
- Experience working with elementary-aged children in a school setting.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to travel between two nearby school sites.
- Commitment to signing on for the duration of the contract (ASAP through end of school year).
Schedule & Location:
- Based in New Britain, CT.
- 4 days per week: 3 days at one elementary school, 1 day at the second site.
- Contract position through the end of the school year.
