School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Neah Bay, Washington
A certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with CCC credentials is sought for a full-time contract position in Neah Bay, WA, serving the 2026-2027 school year. This role offers the opportunity to provide essential speech and language services primarily to early childhood and elementary students, with some support for older, high-needs learners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy to a caseload primarily consisting of Pre-K through 1st-grade students, with additional services for older students requiring moderate to severe support.
- Conduct evaluations and participate in Individualized Education Plan (IEP) meetings as scheduled.
- Manage a growing caseload that typically starts around 36 students and can increase to 42-44 by year-end.
- Collaborate with educational staff across three school buildings—elementary, middle, and high school—on one campus, with the majority of services provided at the elementary building.
- Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports in compliance with district and state guidelines.
Qualifications/Experience:
- Valid SLP certification with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC).
- Experience working with a diverse caseload including mild to moderate and high-needs students.
- Strong organizational and communication skills for caseload management and multidisciplinary collaboration.
- Familiarity with school-based therapy best practices and compliance requirements.
Work Schedule:
- Contract duration: Approximately September 1, 2026, to June 15, 2027.
- Work hours: 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday.
- Flexibility to attend evaluation and IEP meetings as necessary.
