Qualifications & Experience:
- Active Florida SLP license required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome
- Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting valued
- Strong knowledge of evidence-based practices for assessment and intervention in speech, language, and communication
- Exceptional communication, organization, and teamwork skills
- Ability to manage caseloads for students across elementary, middle, and high school levels
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative speech-language services to K-12 students
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and document progress
- Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and other educational professionals
- Support students’ participation in both academic and social aspects of school
- Maintain thorough, timely, and compliant documentation
- Contribute to IEP meetings and serve as an educational resource regarding communication
- Participate in ongoing professional development and school-based initiatives
