School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Naples, Florida

Make a meaningful impact as a Speech Language Pathologist working with K-12 students in an engaging school setting. In this contract role, you’ll collaborate closely with educators, families, and administrators to help students achieve their communication goals. Providing both direct speech services and conducting evaluations, you’ll serve as an essential support for students’ growth and success. This position is fully onsite at a single school location within either Golden Gate City or Immokalee, offering the chance to build strong student relationships throughout the academic year.
Experience & Qualifications
- Active Florida Department of Health SLP Licensure required
- SLP experience with children or adolescents, ideally in a school-based environment
- Able to complete Florida school credentialing, including fingerprinting and JLA badge clearance
- Demonstrated skills in evaluation, treatment planning, and direct therapy
- Strong communication and organization skills
- Collaborative spirit, able to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Adaptable to serve a diverse student population, K-12
Primary Responsibilities
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy to students, supporting their IEP goals
- Conduct comprehensive student evaluations and assessments
- Document progress, maintain records, and develop student-centered intervention plans
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff to optimize student outcomes
- Actively participate in meetings and contribute professional expertise to the school community
- Maintain compliance with school and state regulations
