Qualifications & Experience:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Prior experience providing speech-language services in school-based settings preferred
- Familiarity with supporting students with low incidence disabilities and significant language needs
- Comfortable working with K-8 age groups
- Strong organization, communication, and collaboration skills
- Ability to adapt strategies to meet diverse learner needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to students in CD and CAD classrooms
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans targeting students with significant language deficits
- Collaborate with educators, special education staff, and families to support student progress
- Document therapy sessions, progress, and updates per cooperative guidelines
- Adjust interventions to reflect student needs, IEP goals, and best practices
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions
