Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current SLP license (or eligibility) in Illinois
- Previous experience in a school-based setting, especially with elementary-aged students
- Knowledge of IEP process and IDEA/Section 504 protocols
- Ability to work independently as well as within a multidisciplinary team
- Strong organization, communication, and interpersonal skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and evaluate students’ speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized intervention plans
- Conduct direct and indirect therapy services to support student IEPs
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to promote communication strategies
- Maintain accurate documentation and timely completion of required paperwork
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning
