Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active SLP-CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) credential
- Eligibility for Illinois state SLP licensure (or current license)
- Experience working with K-8 or pediatric populations preferred
- Skilled at evaluating and providing therapy for a cross-categorical caseload
- Strong communication and organization skills
- Commitment to collaborative practice in school settings
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive speech and language assessments
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Deliver effective therapy to students with a range of diagnoses and abilities
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation in accordance with district requirements
- Engage in IEP meetings and contribute as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Communicate progress and strategies to families, teachers, and administrators
- Support students across educational settings, adapting interventions as needed
