Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting K-8 students as a Speech-Language Pathologist for the 2026-2027 school year. This full-time position offers a consistent weekly schedule of 35 hours, serving a diverse, cross-categorical caseload in an engaging elementary and middle school environment near Naperville, IL.

Your expertise in speech, language, and communication will make a meaningful difference for students requiring support across a variety of needs. You’ll collaborate closely with educators, families, and a multidisciplinary team to help each student achieve their fullest potential.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active SLP-CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) credential
  • Eligibility for Illinois state SLP licensure (or current license)
  • Experience working with K-8 or pediatric populations preferred
  • Skilled at evaluating and providing therapy for a cross-categorical caseload
  • Strong communication and organization skills
  • Commitment to collaborative practice in school settings

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive speech and language assessments
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Deliver effective therapy to students with a range of diagnoses and abilities
  • Maintain timely and accurate documentation in accordance with district requirements
  • Engage in IEP meetings and contribute as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Communicate progress and strategies to families, teachers, and administrators
  • Support students across educational settings, adapting interventions as needed
