This full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position offers an opportunity to support a K–8 school environment in Illinois, beginning December 1, 2025, and continuing through the end of the academic year. The role focuses on delivering comprehensive speech and language services to help students achieve their communication goals.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing direct therapy to students from Kindergarten through 8th grade to address various speech and language needs.
  • Conducting assessments and developing individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student requirements.
  • Collaborating closely with teachers, administrators, and other team members to enhance student progress.
  • Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions, progress notes, and mandated reports.
  • Actively participating in IEP meetings and contributing to the development of effective goals and strategies.

Qualifications and experience sought:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Active Illinois SLP license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC).
  • Prior experience in school-based settings is preferred.
  • Strong skills in communication, organization, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
  • Ability to manage a diverse caseload and tailor interventions to individual student needs.

Position details:

  • Contract position based in Naperville, Illinois.
  • Full-time schedule starting December 1, 2025, through the remainder of the school year.
  • Caseload consists of students in Kindergarten through 8th grade.
