Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
- Valid state licensure for Speech-Language Pathology or eligibility to obtain
- Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a commitment to student growth
- Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans effectively
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct therapy services to students in individual and group settings
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop, monitor, and document progress towards IEP goals in collaboration with educators and families
- Participate actively in multidisciplinary team meetings and student support initiatives
- Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment that encourages student engagement and success
- Maintain accurate records in compliance with school, state, and federal guidelines
