A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed immediately for a school-based position within the special education cooperative serving the Delaware and Blackford areas in Muncie, IN. This role focuses on providing speech and language services in an educational setting, primarily working with students at the elementary school level.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments for students.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports.
- Manage a caseload of approximately 83 students.
- Provide direct therapy services, preferably in person, with emphasis on in-person support.
Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology Certification of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC).
- Experience in a school environment as an SLP, preferably with special education students.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage a full-time caseload effectively.
