Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
- Active and current SLP license for Arizona (or eligibility to obtain)
- Previous experience working with school-aged children, ideally at the middle school level
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Commitment to cultural competence and working within diverse school communities
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language services to a caseload of 59 middle school students
- Conduct assessments, write reports, and update IEPs in compliance with school and state requirements
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to create a positive learning environment
- Participate in team meetings and provide input for student progress and support plans
- Document all therapy sessions and student progress accurately and timely
- Serve as an advocate for students’ communication needs within the educational setting
