Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC)
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
- Previous experience in pediatric or school-based settings strongly preferred
- Skilled in evaluating and implementing therapy for a range of speech and language disorders
- Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills
- Comfortable providing clinical guidance and support to SLPA team members
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat students with diverse speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with families, teachers, and multidisciplinary teams to promote student progress
- Provide mentorship and direction for the SLPA
- Monitor student performance, document progress, and adjust interventions as needed
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to a positive school climate
