Travel School Speech Language Pathologist - Moreno Valley, California
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in Moreno Valley, CA, offering the chance to work directly within elementary school settings. This position involves a standard work schedule of 8 hours per day during the school year, excluding a 30-minute unpaid lunch, with the potential to contribute up to 40 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations and re-evaluations as needed.
- Prepare detailed reports and participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings.
- Oversee therapy sessions primarily carried out by Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs).
- Manage an average caseload of approximately 55 students across elementary school sites.
Qualifications:
- Valid California Speech-Language Pathologist license is mandatory.
- Prior experience working in school settings preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple caseloads effectively.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff.
