Pediatric School Speech Therapist | Mooresville, North Carolina
This full-time contract position offers a unique opportunity for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide essential services in a school setting. Located in Mooresville, NC, this role involves managing a diverse caseload across three school locations within a compact 10-minute driving radius.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of approximately 30 students, including several middle schoolers, a couple of high school students, and primarily preschool-age children.
- Deliver treatment and conduct evaluations aligned with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Work exclusively within an IEP framework, without Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) responsibilities.
- Maintain regular school hours, full-time schedule (37.5-40 hours per week).
- Travel between three school locations within a 10-minute drive.
Qualifications:
- Certification and credentials as a Speech-Language Pathologist with Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) completion preferred.
- Experience working with pediatric populations in schools and healthcare settings.
- Proficient in handling IEP-based caseloads with a strong understanding of school compliance and regulations.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities to manage diverse age groups and school environments.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with students, families, and education teams.
