Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- California state licensure or eligibility
- Previous experience as a school-based SLP preferred
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Proficient in IEP development and progress tracking
Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and assessments for students with speech and language needs
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student’s goals
- Provide direct and indirect therapy services to students, individually and in groups
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, staff, and families regarding student progress and strategies
- Maintain accurate documentation and data collection in line with school and state guidelines
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team conferences
