This flexible role is available for either full-time or part-time professionals and involves working across three elementary campuses in a vibrant community near Modesto, CA. Two positions are open for immediate start—perfect for both experienced SLPs and those in their Clinical Fellowship Year.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license (SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY considered)
- Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to effectively collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Passion for supporting diverse learners and promoting student success
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose communication disorders in elementary-age students
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to address students’ speech and language needs
- Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and required documentation
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with school staff and families
- Provide direct therapy in individual and small group settings
- Adapt and innovate therapy approaches to address unique challenges in multiple school sites
