Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid SLP-CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) required
- Current state licensure for practice as an SLP in California, or eligibility to obtain
- Previous experience in a school setting is highly desirable
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations and multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language evaluations to students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with speech, language, and communication needs
- Deliver direct therapy services, both individual and group, according to student IEPs
- Attend and contribute to IEP meetings with staff and families
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and district policies
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other service providers to support student success
- Participate in ongoing professional development and trainings
