Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Valid state license or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in California
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Previous experience working in schools or with pediatric populations preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to connect with students, families, and staff
- Organizational skills for managing documentation and caseload responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language therapy to students as outlined in their IEPs
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and track student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other service providers to integrate therapy with classroom goals
- Attend and participate in IEP meetings, progress updates, and parent conferences
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with district and state guidelines
- Deliver services on-site, supporting students in both individual and group settings
