Step into a rewarding role where your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist makes a real difference for students in middle or high school. This full-time contract position offers a stimulating environment in the Houston metropolitan area, ideal for professionals passionate about supporting adolescent learners in their communication development.

In this role, you will manage a caseload of approximately 50–60 students, focusing on grades 6-8 or 10-12, based on your preference. Responsibilities span the full spectrum of SLP services, including conducting therapy sessions, participating in ARD (Admission, Review, and Dismissal) meetings, performing assessments, and completing all necessary documentation. Flexibility is available—candidates interested exclusively in providing supervision are also encouraged to apply. Your campus assignments will be thoughtfully matched to your preferred ZIP code.

Desired qualifications and requirements:

  • Current and active SLP licensure in Texas and Florida (please include an image of your license with your application)
  • Open to both fully licensed SLPs and Clinical Fellows (CFYs)
  • Experience in a school-based setting and familiarity with ARD meetings preferred
  • Ability to work collaboratively in an educational environment
  • District fingerprinting required prior to start (if not already completed); expedited credentialing available
  • Professionalism and strong communication skills an absolute must

Key responsibilities:

  • Provide both direct and indirect speech therapy services for assigned caseload
  • Lead or participate in ARD meetings
  • Complete testing, evaluations, and proper documentation
  • Engage with teachers, staff, and families to maximize student success

Benefits for this role include stable, school-year employment, ongoing professional support, and a schedule that values work-life balance.

For candidates with school-based SLP experience (or enthusiasm to grow within the field), this position offers a fantastic opportunity to contribute meaningfully in a dynamic educational setting.
