School Speech Therapist (SLP) Job - First Semester Leave
School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – Mishicot, WI
Looking for a rewarding school-based opportunity with a supportive team? We're seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join an elementary school in Mishicot, Wisconsin for a leave coverage assignment. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced clinicians and Clinical Fellows (CFs) looking to gain valuable school-based experience.
Position Details
- Location: Mishicot, WI
- Schedule: Full-Time, 37.5 hours per week
- Assignment Dates: September 2026 – January 6, 2027
- Potential Extension: Assignment may continue if the current SLP does not return
- School Setting: 1 elementary school
- Caseload: Approximately 46 students
- CFs Welcome: Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply
Responsibilities
- Provide speech and language evaluations, assessments, and therapy services
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with student IEPs
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with state and district requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and communicate student progress effectively
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Wisconsin SLP license (or eligibility to obtain)
- Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction (DPI) certification or eligibility
- ASHA CCCs preferred, but CF candidates are welcome to apply
