Position Overview:
This travel opportunity is a long-term substitute role providing speech-language pathology services in a school setting in Minneapolis, MN, specifically within the Spring Lake Park School District. The position supports both general and special education students at Westwood Intermediate, serving grades 5-8. The assignment runs from March to June 2026, offering a 1.0 FTE workload.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language pathology assessments and interventions to students in general and special education settings
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) focused on speech and language goals
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and progress reports
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to school-wide initiatives related to speech therapy
Qualifications:
- Master’s or Doctorate degree (M.A./M.S. or Ph.D.) in Speech Language Pathology
- Current Minnesota State Licensure in Speech Language Pathology
- Strong creative planning and organizational skills
- Highly effective interpersonal and communication abilities
- Clinical fellows seeking authentic school-based speech pathology experience are encouraged to apply and will be supported
