School Speech Pathology | Minneapolis, Minnesota
Step into a dynamic school-based setting, working with a diverse student population as an on-site Speech-Language Pathologist in a contract capacity. This role starts ASAP and extends through June 11, 2026, offering an enriching opportunity to make an impact across multiple school sites through vital leave coverage assignments. As an itinerant SLP, you’ll collaborate closely with educators and families while delivering essential services that foster student growth and communication success.
Desired Qualifications:
- Current, valid Minnesota Speech-Language Pathologist license (MN SLP license required)
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Previous experience in schools or pediatric settings is highly preferred
- Exceptional communication, organization, and collaboration abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students across multiple sites
- Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop and implement IEP goals
- Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to support students’ academic and social success
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports according to district guidelines
- Adapt to changing caseloads as you provide critical leave coverage for fellow SLPs
You’ll work a consistent 37.5-hour weekly schedule for stability and work-life balance. All services will be delivered on-site, allowing you to immerse yourself fully in the school community and build meaningful relationships with students and staff.
