Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Lakeville, Minnesota
A contract opportunity is available for Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to cover leave positions in a school setting near Lakeville, MN. These roles provide the chance to support K-8 and K-6 students with speech and language therapy services during scheduled leave periods.
Key Qualifications and Skills:
- Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Experience with pediatric populations and school-based settings
- Completion or in progress of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) is acceptable
- Competency in delivering teletherapy and hybrid service models
- Skill in developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Ability to participate in meetings and collaborate with educational teams
Position Details:
- Location: Lakeville, MN with leave positions available in Roseville, MN
- Two leave openings, each offering approximately 40 hours per week; part-time schedules may be considered
- Assignment Dates:
- Full-time leave coverage for K-8 students from January 5th to March 5th
- Full-time leave coverage for K-6 students from January 5th to March 27th
- Service Delivery: Options for on-site, hybrid, or remote work arrangements
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language therapy sessions according to student needs
- Complete evaluations, maintain documentation, and manage IEP processes
- Collaborate with school staff and families to support student progress
- Deliver teletherapy services as assigned
