Qualifications and Experience Desired:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Active state licensure (or eligibility) in California
- Experience working with elementary school-aged children preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and conduct assessments
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students in elementary grades
- Assess, diagnose, and write comprehensive evaluation reports for students with speech/language needs
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans and IEPs
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education staff, and families to support student progress
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with federal, state, and district guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and offer expertise as part of a multidisciplinary team
