School Speech Language Pathologist - Midlothian, Virginia
This full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position offers the opportunity to serve K-12 students in a dynamic school environment located in Midlothian, VA. The role is a contract position for the current school year, with an expected start date as soon as possible and an end date of May 29, 2026. The caseload will include a variety of age groups, working closely with SLPA’s and onsite facilitators to deliver comprehensive speech therapy services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized speech and language therapy to students across K-12 grade levels
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to develop and implement effective treatment plans
- Conduct assessments and maintain documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Support student progress through direct therapy and consultative approaches
- Work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team in a school setting
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active Virginia SLP license is required
- Experience working with school-age populations preferred, ranging from entry-level to experienced clinicians
- Ability to manage varying caseloads and work collaboratively with support personnel
- Strong communication and organizational skills
