Qualifications & Skills:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Valid licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC-SLP)
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred
- Bilingual in Spanish and English required
- Familiarity with IEP process, assessment, and intervention strategies for school-aged children
- Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and provide therapy for students with speech, language, and communication challenges
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and families to create supportive learning environments
- Maintain accurate case files, progress notes, and documentation as required by local policies and regulations
- Offer both group and individual therapy sessions tailored to student needs
- Engage in multicultural and bilingual support for diverse student populations
