Speech Language Pathologist in Metairie, LA

Required Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active state licensure (or eligibility)
- ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) highly preferred
- Successful completion of district drug screen and fingerprinting
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Experience in school-based settings a plus
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy to students (caseload and ages to be determined)
- Evaluate and develop individualized treatment plans to support student goals
- Participate in assessments, IEP meetings, and collaborate with educational teams
- Maintain accurate records and data in adherence with state and district standards
- Consult with parents, caregivers, and fellow staff to ensure students’ success
- Follow district schedule: 35 hours/week, Monday through Friday (includes 30-minute unpaid lunch), according to the school’s calendar
