About the Role

We're hiring four Speech-Language Pathologists for the upcoming school year. Placement will depend on your experience and preferences, with opportunities at both elementary (K–4) and intermediate (5th–6th) campuses.

Caseloads are primarily made up of students receiving services in general education and resource settings. One SLP handles all evaluations, allowing this role to focus on service delivery, collaboration, and student progress rather than testing responsibilities.

There is also a high-priority opening at an elementary campus that houses the district's autism program.

Caseload Information

  • Average caseload: 85–90 students
  • No evaluation responsibilities
  • Most students receive 90 minutes or less of services per month
  • Primarily TOR (Teacher of Record) and TOS (Teacher of Service) students
  • General education and resource populations
  • Essential Skills classrooms are supported by a separate SLP
  • Autism program opportunity available for candidates with relevant experience or interest

Responsibilities

  • Provide speech-language therapy services in accordance with IEPs
  • Monitor student progress and maintain documentation
  • Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with educational teams
  • Partner with teachers, families, and support staff to help students reach communication goals
  • Maintain compliance with district and state requirements

Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active state SLP license
  • School-based experience preferred
  • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
