This position offers the chance to make a meaningful difference within site-based programs, known as MAPS PLUS, which include dedicated classes at the elementary, middle, and high school levels.

You'll play a crucial role in fostering communication skills and helping students thrive academically and socially. This assignment will provide variety and the opportunity to collaborate with passionate educators and specialists, working together to support individualized learning goals.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent
  • Active state licensure and ASHA certification (CCC-SLP)
  • Experience working in school settings or with school-age populations
  • Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation requirements
  • Strong organizational skills and adaptability across multiple class levels
  • Commitment to evidence-based practice and culturally responsive care

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct and consultative speech-language services within MAPS PLUS site-based classrooms (serving elementary, middle, and high school students)
  • Conduct assessments, develop IEP goals, and write accurate, timely reports
  • Collaborate with special education and general education staff to deliver integrated support
  • Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed
  • Communicate clearly with students, staff, and families regarding student needs and progress
  • Participate in data collection and team meetings to ensure the highest quality of care
