Speech Pathology - Mechanicsburg, PA
Seeking skilled Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to provide specialized support in school settings across the Mechanicsburg, PA area, including Enola, Harrisburg, and Summerdale. This contract position focuses on Early Summer Youth (ESY) services, running from the last week of June through the end of July. Ideal candidates will be passionate about working with early intervention caseloads and delivering personalized therapy across multiple settings within the district.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language services to students with early intervention needs.
- Deliver direct therapy sessions in various educational settings.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes in compliance with district policies.
- Participate in ESY programming from Monday through Thursday, offering approximately 4 hours of service per day.
- Adapt therapy plans based on individual student goals and needs.
Desired Qualifications:
- State licensure and certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Experience working with school-age children and early intervention programs.
- Ability to provide in-person therapy sessions (in-person presence preferred).
- Strong communication skills and ability to engage effectively with students and staff.
- Flexibility to work across multiple locations (Enola, Harrisburg, Summerdale areas).
- Dedication to maintaining compliance with educational standards and best practices.
