Seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) for an impactful contract assignment serving elementary students. This position is perfect for professionals passionate about supporting students’ communication and academic success in a collaborative educational environment. Located near McKeesport, PA, this onsite opportunity covers three days a week during the first semester at an elementary campus, engaging with a caseload of approximately 38 students.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Valid Pennsylvania SLP Educator Certificate (required)
- Previous experience in school-based settings preferred
- Strong knowledge of IEP development, progress monitoring, and compliance with school and state guidelines
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services per students’ IEPs
- Conduct screenings, assessments, and evaluations
- Develop appropriate goals, treatment plans, and provide regular progress reports
- Collaborate with educators and families to maximize student progress and participation
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school and federal requirements
- Support inclusive education efforts by contributing expertise to the school team
Assignment Overview:
- Onsite services required
- First semester: August 24, 2026 – January 4, 2027 (subject to change)
- 3 days each week, 8:15 AM – 3:40 PM
- Caseload of approximately 38 elementary students
