A temporary opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide maternity leave coverage in a school-based setting in Harvard, Illinois. This full-time, contract position runs from ASAP through the end of October and offers the chance to work within a supportive team and established program.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to diverse student caseloads
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized education program (IEP) goals
- Collaborate effectively with teachers, school staff, and families to support students’ communication needs
- Ensure accurate, compliant documentation and maintain progress reports
Qualifications:
- Active Illinois Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license or ability to obtain licensure quickly
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellows (CFYs) will also be considered
- Experience working in school-based settings preferred
- Bilingual Spanish-speaking SLP highly desired for one of the maternity leave positions
