Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting elementary students as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a vibrant school environment near McDonough, GA. This onsite role runs from late July 2026 through late May 2027, offering a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours each week. You’ll have the chance to positively impact young learners while collaborating alongside a passionate educational team.
Key Qualifications:
- Hold an active Georgia SLP License or GaPSC certification (one required at start; both needed eventually)
- Accepting Clinical Fellows (CF) and Clinical Certificate of Competence (CCC) applicants
- Open to Speech-Language Associates with valid GaPSC certification
- Experience in elementary education settings preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct, onsite speech and language therapy to elementary students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to maximize student success
- Maintain timely, accurate records and session notes
- Conduct evaluations and assessments as required by student IEPs
- Participate in team meetings and school events as necessary
