Provide specialized speech-language pathology services in a school setting, supporting students in grades K-2 to improve communication skills and overall academic success. This travel position is based in Mattapan, MA, offering a unique opportunity to work with young learners in a dynamic environment.
Qualifications:
- Valid Massachusetts Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Pediatric experience, particularly with early childhood education (K-2)
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred
- Previous experience providing school-based speech-language pathology services
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for children in grades K-2
- Implement evidence-based speech and language interventions to address communication disorders
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation including progress notes and reports
- Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities as required
Location and Schedule:
- Travel position located in Mattapan, MA
- Start date: ASAP with assignment through June 2026
- Work schedule: 4 days per week, 7 hours per week
