Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences
- Current state licensure or eligibility to obtain
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates considered
- Prior experience in school settings or with pediatric populations highly valued
- Exceptional communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Ability to evaluate, diagnose, and treat a range of speech, language, and communication disorders
Core Responsibilities:
- Assess and identify speech and language disorders in students K-12
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs and IEPs
- Maintain clear and timely documentation of student progress and therapy sessions
- Collaborate regularly with teachers, support staff, and families
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the goal-setting process
- Deliver both individual and group therapy services in accordance with best practices
- Foster an engaging and supportive atmosphere that encourages student participation and growth
