School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Marana, Arizona
Exciting opportunities await Speech-Language Pathologists ready to support student success across several high school campuses in a dynamic educational environment. This full-time, full school year contract role is based near Marana, Arizona, and offers a rewarding chance to work with a diverse caseload, including students with mild to severe disabilities, ranging from articulation needs to those in adaptive cluster programs, including ASD.
As an itinerant SLP, you’ll mainly serve Mountain View High School, taking primary responsibility for approximately 50 students, while also providing support for an additional 10 students split between Vista and MCAT. This role requires flexibility, collaboration, and a commitment to evidence-based practice while managing a total caseload of roughly 60-70 students. Both experienced SLP-CCC professionals and Clinical Fellows are welcome, and a seasoned SLPA can be considered with mentorship from an SLP.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current, active SLP license and standard state certification
- Active IVP fingerprint clearance card
- SLP-CCC credential strongly preferred; Clinical Fellows encouraged to apply
- Experience with a range of communication disorders, including autism spectrum and adaptive needs
- Ability to work across multiple sites and collaborate with diverse educational teams
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and provide therapy for students with communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Deliver services across multiple high school campuses
- Consult with educators, families, and professionals for holistic student support
- Maintain compliance with state and federal guidelines
