Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid licensure/certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience working with pediatric populations, including early childhood, elementary, and secondary students
- Familiarity with IEP processes, assessment tools, and evidence-based therapeutic interventions
- Strong communication skills and a passion for making a difference in students’ lives
- Ability to adapt therapy approaches across a range of ages (Pre K through Grade 12)
Responsibilities:
- Assess students’ speech, language, and communication needs using standardized tools
- Develop individualized treatment plans and implement evidence-based therapy sessions
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Attend and participate in IEP meetings, providing detailed progress reports and recommendations
- Maintain accurate documentation and records in compliance with school and state requirements
- Provide consultation and support to staff and caregivers regarding strategies for communication success
