Pediatric School Speech and Language Pathologist | Delaware, Ohio
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in Delaware, OH for the 2026/2027 school year, running from August 19th to May 19th. This contract role provides the opportunity to work within a supportive school environment with a manageable caseload and a collaborative service delivery model.
Key Details:
- Full-time schedule: 37.5 hours per week
- Caseload: 65 students, shared with a part-time SLP focusing on younger students and evaluations
- Service model: 3:1 ratio
- Three weeks per month dedicated to direct student services
- One week per month for consultation, IEP and progress report writing, and conducting professional development presentations for staff
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid SLP certification and licensure
- Experience working with pediatric populations in school settings
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) desirable
- Strong skills in assessment, therapy, and collaboration with educators
- Ability to effectively manage caseload and documentation responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services to assigned students
- Collaborate with teachers and school staff through consultations and team meetings
- Complete timely assessments, IEP development, and progress monitoring
- Deliver presentations and training during professional development sessions
