Key Qualifications:
- Current and valid Speech-Language Pathologist license
- Certification for school-based SLP services
- Experience with both elementary and middle school populations preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Passion for helping students succeed in academic and social settings
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy services to students in K-8
- Conduct assessments, develop IEP goals, and deliver individualized interventions
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and parents to ensure effective support plans
- Document progress, maintain compliance with special education requirements, and participate in IEP meetings
- Offer training and resources for staff and families as needed
- Foster an inclusive, encouraging atmosphere for student growth and communication development
