School Speech Therapist - Colorado Springs, Colorado

The focus is a preschool caseload, typically ranging from 40 to 60 students, where your clinical skills will truly shine.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid SLP license or eligibility to obtain licensure in Colorado
- Previous experience or strong interest in school-based therapy, particularly with preschool populations
- Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with educators, families, and other professionals
- Strong organizational skills to manage caseload documentation and IEP processes
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and deliver evidence-based therapy to preschool students with speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and maintain Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in partnership with educational staff and families
- Work closely with an on-site SLP for support, consultation, and joint interventions
- Monitor student progress, adapting therapeutic strategies as needed
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to a positive, inclusive learning environment
