Required qualifications and experience:
- Active Virginia Speech-Language Pathology license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or current Clinical Fellow (CFY) status
- Previous experience in school-based settings preferred
- Ability to work effectively across multiple school environments
- Dedication to evidence-based speech-language interventions
- Flexibility and strong communication skills to partner with educators, families, and students
- Onsite availability throughout the contract duration
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication evaluations and assessments
- Design and implement individualized therapy plans
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success
- Maintain accurate documentation for therapy sessions, progress reports, and compliance requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings, sharing insights and recommendations for student plans
- Support a diverse student population ranging from elementary to high school
- Travel between multiple school locations as scheduled
