School-Based SLP | Cypress, Texas

In this engaging role, your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist will positively impact both middle and high school learners as you split your time between two locations. Manage a caseload of approximately 50 students, working on a full-time basis of 35 hours per week, and focus on fostering communication skills in diverse age groups.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active state licensure or eligibility to obtain it
- Proficiency in American Sign Language is essential
- ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred
- Experience supporting school-aged students in a public education setting is valuable
- Excellent interpersonal, documentation, and organizational skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to meet students’ communication needs
- Conduct thorough assessments, document progress, and adjust strategies to ensure optimal outcomes
- Collaborate seamlessly with teachers, faculty, and families to support IEP goals
- Provide direct therapy sessions to students in both middle and high school environments
- Maintain all required records and compliance documentation with care and timeliness
- Facilitate inclusive approaches to support a positive and accessible learning atmosphere for all students, including those who use sign language
