Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist in Cave City, KY
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in Hart County, KY, servicing students from Kindergarten through 12th grade in a school setting. This contract position runs approximately from August 10, 2026, through May 26, 2027. The role involves working across a few school sites weekly, providing services to students with mild to moderate disabilities.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech-language pathology services to K-12 students
- Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans tailored to individual student needs
- Implement evidence-based interventions for a variety of speech and language disorders
- Collaborate with other SLPs and educational staff within the district to support student progress
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with district and legal regulations
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal-setting and progress monitoring
Qualifications:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) required
- Experience with pediatric speech-language pathology and school-based practice strongly preferred
- Eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates considered
- Familiarity with working in healthcare and educational settings is a plus
- Ability to work with mild to moderate disability populations
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
